At the homeless shelter around 12th Avenue and Madison, our amazing volunteers handed out socks to the homeless. It was a great experience seeing their faces light up. A lot the homeless, especially those in wheel chairs or mentally-off, are not able to get socks when they become available. The ones who are able to get in line quicker, usually are the ones who get them first, and they go fast! But we fixed that problem by handing out the socks directly to the individual and made sure they all received at least one pair! It was a great afternoon!
